We walked into the mist again this morning and a favorite song from my absolute favorite Bob Marley album Kaya (1978) kept running through my head. That was fine as I love the song. One slight alteration, my brain always wants to change the beginning to, “Misty morning and the weather is fine”. I do not know that Bob would object.
We walked a neighborhood we had yet to discover, Campillin Oviedo. Once again, another lovely area with a few new statues. The first two are of the same sculpture, hoping to illustrate the man in the middle.
We continued back to the performing arts center hoping they would allow us to explore inside what looks to be a magnificent venue. Alas, we were turned away, but here are two views of the welcoming sculpture and another of the courtyard/playground.
That is pretty much my day, other than the 4 hours refining details of the trip. Done for now and we are going to try the dark beer we found. Tomorrow is rumored to be a dry(er) day and the plan is to head to the beach about 20 miles away.

Hello Dr. Pat, the area looks pleasant.
In regard to the bottom sculpture pic, did you happen to observe what the figure is holding? Thank you.
Have fun at the beach.
Hope
Hi Hope, great question and I do not have a clue. There is some Latin writing but that doesn’t help me and I do not think it refers to the sculpture. It does not remind me of anything I have seen.
What is the sculpture holding?
The pictures are wonderful and you are having a great time , hope the dark beer is good and you get to the beach and take some pictures. Keep having fun
Talk to Joe and Toni yesterday
Sending hugs
The beer was good, not sure the beach will happen. I have already spent 3 hours trying to undo the havoc credit cards wreck when they decide to protect me. Trying to get Iceland tix and seattle tix but not allowed. This happened one other time and it literally took almost a day to undo.
what is she holding? great question and I do not have a clue. There is some Latin writing but that doesn’t help me and I do not think it refers to the sculpture. It does not remind me of anything I have seen.
Be well, nice you got to speak with the toni Joe crew.
