It has been a while since I have written. Part of that was the mental change of no longer being away, no new adventure, though that is not quite accurate. Being back in Spokane brought a whole new array of adventure. It took me a bit to gear up to writing again. Then, when I decided to write my website had been parked, meaning GoDaddy made my domain name inoperative. Unfortunately, undoing that took a bit of time. In fact, though the site is back I still do not have access to my account. As noted previously, technology and my sense of order do not always align.
Now that I am back the blog is patiently sitting here in computerland waiting for the travels to begin again. One of the objectives of this blog is to offer information that might make somebody else’s travels easier. Here’s one. If you are going to the United Kingdom you now need to be accepted into their UKeTA program, or you will be denied entry. Not to worry, it is fairly painless and the cost is just over $28. Information is found at uketa.com and if you have a passport it is a fairly quick process. I applied for Sheila and myself last night and we are already accepted.
We have tickets and our next stop is Scotland. Interestingly, purchasing plane tickets in Mexico was much less confusing for me and consequently easier. Thank goodness for assistance from my one time travel agent sister Marjie. We land in London and will take trains and buses from there in our endevor to visit a few friends. Sheila has also expressed an overwhelming desire to visit Irish pubs, so that is on the agenda. Their pubs are noted as being happy friendly places.
We had planned on leaving Spokane on May 1 but a few things conspired to slow the process so our tickets are for May 4 departure and landing in London midday on May 5th.
Nothing more to say other than thanks for reading.

Glad your gearing up for the next travel adventure, good to know traveling to the UK, you need to fill out another form, pay money and was quite simple. Traveling to the UK, should be fun, and going by train will offer you the opportunity to see the beauty of the region, make sure you have a raincoat and umbrella. Also you may have to duck as some of the pubs, the real old ones, 16,~17th century have lower ceilings. Bring your smiles and enjoy the adventures that await you.
